The Helix Valve Kit is a replacement bite valve with convenient manual shut-off to prevent drainage during transport - just twist on for the ride, and twist off for the drive home. To drink, just bite down in the outer groove, which pushes the internal plunger back, and lets the water flow free! If it needs a cleaning, twist halfway between On and Off, pull off, and swab out with a little rubbing alcohol - make sure to rinse out thoroughly before drinking again. When not in use, you can put on the black dust cover so no dirt gets on the mouthpiece.
