Directly descended from MotoGP tyres, dual-compound technology successfully combines multiple rubber compounds in a single tyre, expertise that Michelin has developed in winning 25 MotoGP World Championships. For the new Pro3 Range, Michelin engineers applied a 6mm band of Super Grip rubber on the Michelin Pro3 range. The result is a phenomenal increase in grip of 27% (Compared to the Michelin Pro2 range). The centre of the tread maintains the exceptionally low rolling resistance of its predecessor, yet delivers a 20% increase in grip, thanks to a new Energy rubber mixture. The new MICHELIN Pro3 tyres raise both safety and performance to unprecedented levels.
