This is Minoura's mid level tyre-drive trainer that uses Minoura's patented magnetic resistance unit. It is constructed with a heavy 850 gram machined steel flywheel to provide a smoother feel while pedaling.
Rim Drive System
Rim Drive system is developed and patented exclusively by Minoura.
This can eliminates all problems found on the stationary bike trainers such as noise and vibration caused by the uneven tire tread pattern and premature tire wear due to the roller contact at all time.
The rollers on the rim drive system don't touch the tire at all so you don't need to worry about the tire wear, especially when warming up before the race.
Rollers
Each roller pulley contains a high-grade sealed bearing for smooth spin.
The rubber roller is made of the material as same as for the brake show so your rim won't be damaged at all.
Engaging/releasing operation is done by a plastic lever quickly.
