Competition Terms and Conditions
This document sets out the terms of participation in Bikes.com.au "Win a Felt Bike" competition.

1. Entry to the Competition is open to residents of Australia. An entrant must be an individual and not a company or organisation. Entrants under 18 years of age must have the consent of their parent or guardian to enter. Employees of the Promoter or any person associated with the Competition, or any organisation or individual associated with the provision of the prize(s) are not eligible to enter.

2. Each entry must be entered in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. By entering the Competition, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter may in its discretion refuse to award any prize to any entrant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions. All relevant instructions on the Promoter's website form part of these Terms and Conditions.

3. Entry into the Competition is free.

4. The Competition opens Thursday 19th August 2010 and closes at 12 midnight on Sunday 31st October 2010 ("Competition Period"). Any entry received after the expiry of the Competition Period will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost, delayed or misdirected entries.

5. The entrant whose Photo is judged by the Promoter's panel of judges to be the best, most original and creative will win the first prize ("First Prize Winner").

6. Chance plays no part in determining the prize winners.

7. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.

8. No component of the prizes can be transferred or redeemed for cash. In the event that the prizes becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter reserves the right to provide a similar product to the same or greater value as the original prizes, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable legislation.

9. You warrant that:

(i) all details provided with your entry are true and accurate;
(ii) you have all necessary rights and licenses to grant the rights set out in these Terms and Conditions;

10. You acknowledge that the Promoter is under no obligation to exercise any of the rights granted to it by these Terms and Conditions.

11. You agree that the Promoter may use your entry and any personal details provided to the Promoter for any promotional, marketing and publicity purposes of the Promoter in any media without notice and without any fee paid to you.

12. In the event that a prize winner is unable to be contacted, the Promoter will retain the prize for twelve (12) days from the date of the judges' decision. If any prize is not claimed within twelve (12) days of the date of the judges' decision, the judges may determine another winner for the unclaimed prize. A winner of any unclaimed prize will be the prize winner for the purpose of these Terms and Conditions.

13. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this Competition, or for any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this Competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.

MBC Free Servicing:
All new bicycles purchased come with our exclusive 1 YEAR UNLIMITED FREE SERVICE. We recommend you return your bicycle for its first service 6-8 weeks of riding (approx. 200km). Our repair department is constantly busy servicing bicycles, so it's recommened that you call us a few days before you would like your bicycle serviced, and book in for our same day servicing.

MBC Extended Warranty:
Melbourne Bicycle Centre Prahran warrants to the original owner that the frame of your bicycle purchased shall be free of defective materials or workmanship for the following: Steel - Lifetime, Aluminium - 20 Years, Aluminium/Carbon - 5 Years, Carbon - 5 Years. During this warranty period, Melbourne Bicycle Centre Prahran shall repair or replace, at its sole option, the bicycle frame if the frame is determined to be defective and subject to this warranty. Melbourne Bicycle Centre Prahran warrants all other components for 5 years against any defects in workmanship or materials in normal use. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, nor to defects, malfunctions, or failures that result from the abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, modification, accident, or misuse (including, without limitation, stunt riding, racing or similar activities) of your new bicycle. Cost of Freight for all warranty claims is not covered by the warranty.

We endeavor to verify the accuracy of any information on the site but makes no representation or warranty of any kind or otherwise regarding the contents or availability of the site or that it will be timely or error-free. Melbourne Bicycle Centre accepts no liability of any kind for any loss or damage from action taken or taken in reliance on material or information contained on the website.

Website Prices:
Our website displays over 3000 products from over 50 suppliers. We endeavour to keep all of our online prices current but ongoing price changes from our suppliers makes it very difficult to keep all of our prices up to date. If you place an order for a product with a wrong price displayed you will be contacted as soon as possible.  In most cases we will honour the older price, but if we cannot afford to sell the product at the old price we will contact the person who placed the order to work out a special price. An email is sent automatically for all orders placed, this is only to confirm that we have received the order.

Online Bicycle Orders:
Please allow 7-10 working days for your bicycle to be delivered from time of payment being received. We take extra time and care in assembling your bicycle before it is packed and ready to send. Most online bicycle and department stores simply send the bicycle to you without any adjustments. We make sure the gears, brakes, wheels and all other components have been adjusted correctly first. All you need to do is fit the pedals, front wheel and stem. Easy to follow assembly instructions are included.

Web only items are sold directly via bikes.com.au. All purchases are to be made only online for these items.

Refund Policy:
Our Refund Policy follows the guidelines provided by Consumer Affairs Victoria.
You are entiled to choose a refund OR repair OR exchange OR credit if the products you've bought are:
- Faulty
- Significantly different to those shown or described to you
- Not doing what they're supposed to do
When you buy, you should choose carefully. You don't automatically get a refund for simply changing your mind, unless this was a condition of the sale or part of the seller's advertised policy.
Please keep you receipt as proof of purchase.
Frieght for any warranty claims or returns is not covered or refunded as part of our warranty.
